The East Side Fire Department is located in East Baton Rouge Parish. Established in 1976, East Side serves an area of 8 square miles with a population of 18,000. East Side Fire Department is comprised of 13 career and 14 contract firefighters responding from two stations.
Station 91, opened in 1995, serves the northern part of the district and is located at 15094 Old Hammond Hwy. It also houses the administrative offices for the day-to-day operations of the department. Station 92, opened in 2007, serves the southern part of the district and is located at 17505 S. Harrell's Ferry Rd.
